Loučky nad Odrou [ Cadastral territory ]

Loučky (elevation above sea-level 301 m) is situated along the river Odra, 3 km northeast of Odry.
Loučky is reminded in 1362 at the demense of Odry where it stayed as late as 1848. A new village founded on demesne (demense) piece of land in 1777. As per July 1st 1961 it was connected to Jakubčovice nad Odrou and with this village on January 1st 1979 to Odry. A part of Loučky is settlement called Nová Ves (New Village) (only in 1868 - 1948 it was separated from Loučky), nowadays called Kolonka. Originaly German settlement, after 1918 with Czech minority. In 1850 it consisted of 490 inhabitants, in 1950 after finishing of settlement 312 inhabitants, in 2002 then 485 inhabitants.
A cultural monument is uniquely extant complex of water mill with area with the newest mill. The first mentions in the village book from 1650, modern adjustments in the 20th century.
In Loučky there is a big lumbering firm - saw mill, further broiler hatch and poultry farm specialized in production of eggs. Further there are kindergarten, volunteer fire company with firehouse, groceries and Pub at Chloupeks' with hot meals all the day.
Northeast of the village there is situated a quit region, in the southeastern part of Loučky - Nová Ves - there is situated a monumental tree (oak-tree).
On the village sealing-stick, used from the beginning of the 18th century, there was portrayed to left footing horse and under it plough (hook).
