New modern iron tower [ Look-out tower ]
The look-out tower is part of the historical preserve commemorating the greatest battle in the Austro-Prussian or Seven Weeks´ War of 1866, when 7 600 soldiers lost their lives.
The new modern iron tower is 34 m high, and was built in 1999; it offers a view over the entire battlefield.
The Museum of the Battle at Hradec can be found in a neighbouring tower.
