Pustevny [ Horské sedlo ]
The mountain saddleback of Pustevny, named after hermits who had lived there, is an important tourist centre. The Pustevny are dominated by wooden buildings built in a folk-style by a significant Slovak architect Dušan Jurkovič (Maměnka and Libušín), as well as the well-known mountain hotel Tanečnica. In winter the Pustevny become a sought-after ski resort with 11 ski lifts and 9 ski slopes.
